Henrys 4 birthday
Henry slept in till 745 on his birthday. This was a treat for Blake and I!! Today we celebrated with just our neighbors, we had cupcakes and pizza. When Henry opened his gifts he was so excited to get an ant farm:) he couldn't believe he got one. He told us about 3 times " I can't believe it !! I really have an ant farm" we love Henry boy more than words could ever express. So excited to experience yr 4 with him... Xxoo

Blog Concept
The idea behind this blog is to have a place where I can write down cute things that my kids do/say so that we can remember them 15-20 years down the road. I love my kids so much and I want to remember the adorable things they do and the things that make them who they are in my eyes.
A couple weeks ago I was taking care of the boys by myself because Tianna was out of town visiting her sister. We were all asleep and around 3 AM I heard Henry making some noise in his room and then saying, "Daaaaaad." So I got out of bed a little disgruntled that it was still the middle of the night, and knowing that Bentley would probably be awake sometime soon too. I opened Henry's door to find him at the foot of his bed, eyes wide opened and he looked at me as serious as can be and said, "Dad, there's a dinosaur in my pillow." He immediately melted my heart and then said, "Dad, there's a dinosaur in my pillow. Go look!" So of course I had to turn the light on, take his pillow out of his pillow case and show him that there wasn't a dinosaur in there. The whole time I distinctly remember enjoying every moment. I loved imagining what was going through his head and seeing his little body scoot around with excitement as I inspected his pillow for him. I loved snuggling up with him on his bed afterwards, singing him "Do As", which is "Do As I'm Doing". I loved watching him say, like he always does, "Just one more song" with his finger raised and with a slight head nod.
Henry is also really in to space and singing. He knows 7/9 planets and will make up a song for everything. When he gets crazy and loud at home, I let him be crazy and loud. I want him to be able to feel comfortable in our house and recognize that our home is a place where he can be himself. He'll have plenty of places to learn to be quiet.
I don't want my kids to grow up. I like them just the way they are.
Bentley is the sweetest boy on the planet. He truly is the easiest baby in the world and is just in constant motion. He couldn't be more different than Henry in that regard. He loves to take EVERYTHING out of every drawer he can get into, he loves to bang things together and he can't stand the word "No" right now. It's hilarious. Tianna and I got it on video because we think it's so funny. He's in the testing phase right now where if we say No to something, he'll reach for it again while looking at us and then we say No again. He immediately breaks in to the most dramatic cry and show you've ever seen. It's hilarious. It's cute because he's the classic little brother. All he wants is the approval of his big brother!
